It's Monday! What Are You Reading? Button
Hosted by Kathryn from Book Date, “It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?” is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, plus whatever else comes to mind. Here is what I read the week ending 29 July 2019. To learn more about each book, click on the book cover!

So, work might not have settled as much as I thought they had because that is the way of things. Still, I’ll keep trying. I am not ready to give up my book blogger status quite yet.

I will admit to not a lot of reading these days. I have been too into watching Black Sails and Game of Thrones while working on a cross-stitch project to read. Plus, it’s too damn hot. I like reading cuddled under a blanket or with my puppy – something that is not enjoyable when it is in the upper 80s and extremely high humidity even with air conditioning. Summer is my least favorite season. I can’t wait until the fall.
