I am still alive! I am not reading very much. Nicky Pau Preto’s debut is gorgeous, but it is a slow build of a novel, which means it took me way too long to make any headway. My current read is an equally slow build. I am enjoying it, but it feels like I make no progress in the brief moments of reading time I am getting right now.
DID NOT FINISH:
When you don’t read very much, it is easy to finish everything.
CURRENT LISTEN:
There was no listening this week to anything, not even music. It appears my brain is at maximum capacity right now.
NEXT UP:
My last February review copy. I hope I can finish it before February ends.
What are you reading?

Ooh, curious to hear about the Julia Shaw nonfic!
I liked it, and I believe you would find a lot to enjoy too. There are aspects of her discussion that made me a bit sick to my stomach, but I obtained a lot of fodder for thought.
I both so very badly want to read Early Riser and want to not as a protest that it isn’t a Thursday Next book. Not very mature but that’s how I feel. I will look forward to your thoughts on that one.
I liked it quite a bit. I stopped reading the Thursday Next series once he jumped into multiple Thursdays, so I am okay with the fact that he branched out with a different story. It is different too, which I liked – creative, amusing, and a completely different take on climate change stories.
