So, what are you reading?
I’m reading Jane’s Fame by Claire Harman, and it’s such a nice nonfiction read. Very often my nonfiction ends up being super academic, which is great in its own way, but then when I go and read a trade nonfiction book I’m always like “wow this is a really pleasant method of knowledge acquisition.” :p
LOL! I know what you mean. I do love academic nonfiction, but when you shift to more mainstream nonfiction, it feels like you are cheating or at least reading a fiction novel.
YES! Ladder to the Sky was so good…one of my favorites of 2018!
I loved it! His writing amazes me!
