We should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week ending 31 August 2018.

- ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!?! – I have been waiting for this season since January 1, 2018. I have been watching the off-season practices and reading the news and getting more and more hyped for college football. The Badgers, on paper, have one of the best teams in the NCAA, filled with GOOD guys who are committed to their teammates, the school, and their coach – who is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. I have no problems supporting a team like that and cannot wait for kick-off tonight. No matter what happens, it is going to be one hell of a season. On Wisconsin!

What makes this a Fabulous Friday for you?

Don’t know why, but just not a fan of football: high school, college or professional. But glad that you all are excited. 🙂 A Fabulous Friday here because start of a four-day weekend. On Wednesday, my father’s sister Eleanor passed away at the age of 87, but she had been in declining health for a number of years. Funeral on Sunday and even though it could be under better circumstances, I will get to see cousins I haven’t seen in a long time.
That’s okay. I am not a huge fan of NASCAR, but I know you enjoy the races. As long as we both enjoy the things we love.
I am sorry to hear about your aunt. I hope you can enjoy the family reunion even under the auspicious circumstances.
Although I’m not a huge follower of college football, I’m glad football is back on tv!!
Me too!!
So it’s not college football, but Laurence and I have been getting hyped for regular football. He’s been keeping up with preseason games and watching them if they happen to be on channels we get. We’ll be watching games every Sunday soon, while Jason and the other boys play D&D!
I am excited about the NFL too. Sundays always find me watching the Packers at the very least, if not the Steelers and maybe the Texans. This is another reason I love fall. It gives me uninterrupted time to cross-stitch while watching football both days of the weekend!
