We should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.

- NEW READING CHAIR – I was using one from Connor in my office, but of course he had to go and take it back when he went back to Ames last week. That’s okay because it meant that I got to finally order a chaise lounge instead. It arrived on Thursday, and I am really looking forward to thoroughly testing it out this weekend (between errands and dance rehearsals and a dance picnic that is).

Well, I would really like to keep the pups off of this. Plus, I don’t think they would like the design of the chair. So maybe there will be them snuggling by the side of the chair with me!
No photo of the new chair??? I am dying for a new chair. I have had my eye on a leather club chair from Pottery Barn for I don’t know how long. When I got my bonus I promised to buy it but then when it came time to do it I could not imagine forking over $1900 for a chair plus shipping. So, I am chairless.
I went with Wayfair. I know it is cheap and most likely will not last a long time, but I figure it will fit its purpose. And really, all I intend to do is read in it. The dogs will not be allowed on it, not that they would want to get on it given its shape. So, there is a fair chance it will last longer than it would if it were in the family room and the kids were young. I too was eyeballing furniture from Pottery Barn and could not justify the expense for something that would sit in a room only I use.

I definitely will! It was too dark last night to add a decent picture. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate today or this weekend.
