We should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.

- HOLIDAY WEEKEND – There is something about American companies these days that make them stingy on giving days off to their employees. My company only offers nine days for the year, and six of them occur in November and December. So when I actually get a long holiday weekend, it is time to rejoice. I am sure we have activities planned, but I have no idea what they are. Connor’s birthday is on Monday, so I know we will celebrate that. Otherwise, I plan to do as little as possible and enjoy every day of the long weekend.

What makes this a Fabulous Friday for you?

Aw, have a great long weekend! I don’t have the day off tomorrow, which is probably for the best as I have a super, super busy week coming up. I’m hoping that makes it whiz by!
I hope you were able to enjoy yesterday and that this week is whizzing past for you!
Three day weekend here means we can do a bunch on Tier 3 of our landscaping job! Which is good since next weekend it’s supposed to be over 105 outside, yikes…
We are thankfully dropping back down into the 70s and 80s next weekend, which is good because this past weekend was in the upper 90s and miserable. My kids were grumbling about how much they miss winter. LOL!
Our goals for this weekend are the same: to do as little as possible.
I don’t know just how much relaxing I will be able to do as my mother-in-law is coming for her annual visit. I can’t do what I want when she is here.
Yay for long weekends!
We only get 7 observed holidays. ;-(
We have nothing much planned. We’re just staying home and relaxing. Totally looking forward to it.
I do not understand why American companies refuse to give their employees more bank holidays. You just get a grumpy workforce that will call in sick more often or find other reasons to not be at work.
I’m so happy it’s a long weekend!! Enjoy every minute of it!
That’s the plan!
Enjoy your long weekend! We have cleaning/errand running to prepare for all the family coming in to town for the teen’s graduation/Eagle Court of Honor. 2 weeks to go!
Have fun! My mother-in-law is coming for her annual visit next week. I’m not too worried. At this point in time, I’m all “at least I will be in town and have Connor to help.” Unlike last year when planning a grad party, dealing with the recital dress rehearsals and performances AND being the prop master for the ballet all during month-end close. Not my finest week.
