Hosted by Kathryn from Book Date, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, plus whatever else comes to mind. Here is what I read the week ending 19 February 2018. To learn more about each book, just click on the book cover!
I knew this would happen. I don’t like it all the same.
DID NOT FINISH:
If you don’t read anything, you cannot decide whether to DNF something.

I blew off all my real reading this week and read a whole bunch of fanfic plus a new romance novel that’s just a gay retelling of Prisoner of Zenda. It’s been terrific but I don’t have a lot of book-reading progress to report. :p
Me either, girl, but I didn’t blow off any reading. Just more of the same of not being able to find time.
The description for I Was Anastasia was intriguing to me, I’ll be looking for reviews of that one.
I hope it is as good as it sounds! I am fascinated by the Romanov family and their end. I can never decide if all the mystery is just wishful thinking or if there is some truth to the conspiracies.
I’m sad to hear Flight Attendant wasn’t one of his better ones, I do look forward to his books. Let Me Lie is on my list also. Sometimes we just don’t read as much as we planned right, happens to the best of us.
I had no plans to read a lot this past month because of Holly’s dance schedule. I don’t have TIME to read these days, and that is what sucks so much. It makes me cranky not to read at least 30 minutes every day.
I can’t think about books past my jealousy of the Nora Roberts ARC! really I’m reading the newest Lauren Willig and it is pretty good. I’m definitely caught up in the mystery.
I mentioned on IG on Friday that I never get unsolicited ARCs anymore and I almost never get print ARCs these days, so I don’t get the cool book mail pictures that everyone seems to have. The fact that I have been lucky enough to get an ARC of Nora Roberts’ latest has me flying to the moon!
A good mystery is always a good read. I hope the new Willig remains good for you!
I’m sorry it wasn’t a good reading week. I hope this week and weekend you get more reading time!
Thanks, Brandie! Me too!
I am reading the 2nd in the Lady Sherlock series and enjoying it very much. For mystery group in a couple of weeks. I have Let Me Lie and The Flight Attendant here to read someday. And I have finished The Broken Girls – liked it. Hope you have a good reading week, Michelle!
Thanks, Kay! Have a great week!
Where did you land on The Flight Attendant??
I liked it more than you did. Cassie is still a horrible person, but I appreciated the twists he added. The ending is not what I expected either. It is most definitely not his best novel; it is one of the weakest I have read of his. I didn’t hate it though.
