We should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.

- THE BOY IS COMING HOME – Next week is spring break for Connor which means he is coming home tonight for what he tells us is rest and recuperation and some stress relief. He sounds excited to be coming home. I am excited to have him back even if it is only for a week.
- NO COMPETITIONS – Holly does not compete this weekend, but she does have several hours of dance rehearsals. However, I have declared this weekend to be a no-dance weekend for myself. No going to the studio. No picking up from the studio. I just want to stay home and do all the things I can never get done because of all the time we spend at the studio on the weekends. With Connor home, we have an extra driver for the week, so my plans of resting, relaxing, and reading should come to fruition. I am seriously excited about the thought too.

What makes this a Fabulous Friday for you?

Hooray for your family being together (with no competitions)! I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks, Stephanie!
Hahaha. So Connor wants to come home to rest and relax but it sounds like he will be the one taking his sis to practice. Nicely played, mama.
I DO hope you get to rest though. We have a tournament far, far away and then we have to come back, hopefully in time for an acting class. My friend is having a party and both my husband and I were invited but she specifically said adults only so that would mean leaving The Girl at home and it’s after a full day so we may bow out.
Of course! I warned him, and he told me he figured that was going to be on his list of to-dos this week. I honestly don’t think he minds very much though. He loves his car and loves driving, plus it gives him an excuse to get out of the house when all of his friends are still at school.
Yay for Connor being home and not having plans this weekend! I hope you get to enjoy every minute of it!!
We have our out of town competition this weekend. Leaving today after Sunnie gets out of school and staying overnight. Thankfully she has all her dances tomorrow, so we’ll get home sometime before 7 pm. I’m already tired thinking about it. 🙂
It was a good weekend. I could have used one more day of doing nothing, but I tried to make the most of what I had!
Even though I have one in driver’s ed and another who will be there in a couple months, the idea of having an extra driver in the house is still foreign to me! It’ll certainly be nice.
Once you get used to it, you will wonder how or why you ever thought it would be scary or a bad idea! I miss having Connor home for several reasons, but his ability to get his sister whenever I couldn’t or didn’t want to is probably at the top of the list.
