We should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.

- ONE WEEK DOWN – This week was ROUGH. Holly and I got back from Des Moines on Monday afternoon. She still had dance class that night, so we literally got home, unpacked, did a load of laundry, cleaned up a bit, and went to class. This week was month-end, and I knew going into it that I was going to be gone for two days, one of which was my deadline day for all of my reports. I countered this by going into work extremely early (like 6-6:30 AM) and staying as late as I could. Holly competes today in downtown Chicago, so in order to be there in plenty of time we had to leave earlier than I would have liked. I am hoping that while Holly is at convention classes this weekend, I can get some time to rest and recuperate. I really do not want to live through another week like this past one, but I survived and can look forward to a much calmer work week when we get back.

What makes this a Fabulous Friday for you?

Well congrats on surviving! I hope you have a restful week this week. <3
Thanks! Me too!
Hope your weekend is starting out well. Here, mine started with an unexpected day off yesterday because of snow. Today and tomorrow, just chilling as usual.
So far so good. It’s been a low-key weekend when we aren’t in the dance convention, which is good. No snow here, but we are still drying out when that storm that hit you hit us with nothing but rain for four days straight. Everything is still a soggy, waterlogged mess!
Good luck! I hope you get to relax too – and I love that Downton Abbey gif. That’s one of my favorite scenes!
I love that line. It never fails to crack me up!
DO take your downtime to rest. Try to. I know it’s hard because when we have a moment to ourselves we tend to fill it but try not to. Order in, relax. Okay?
I will definitely try. We are essentially by ourselves this weekend, so it should be easy to order room service and enjoy some quiet time. Plus, Holly has homework I would love for her to finish before we get home Sunday evening.
Sounds brutal. I hope you get to recover this weekend and that next week isn’t as bad!
It was not my favorite week at work, let’s put it that way. Next week at work will be better but after work is another story with pom tryouts three of the five nights and then having to rush her to dance classes after that. But we have the weekend free, so there is the reward.
Here’s hoping next week is oh so much better!!!
Thanks, Debi!
