We should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.

- HERE WE GO – Holly and I are heading to Des Moines, Iowa today for the first dance competition of the year. The team has two full days this weekend with 31 different dances they will be performing. Holly debuts her solo on Sunday afternoon. I think at this point in time,
I am more nervous than she is. It has been a long road to this point though, so I know we are all ready for the girls to get on that stage and show everyone what they got.

Us stage moms always get nervous and excited for a performance. I always worry about things out of my control, like a mic going out. Has happened more than once. I know Holly will be great. I can’t wait to hear all about it.
We don’t have anything big going on this weekend but hey, it’s Friday. I have a service appt for my car tomorrow but the dealership is happily situated across the street from B&N so you know where I shall be.
The Girl’s auditions for Bet and Mr. Sowerberry (Oliver) went very well, according to her. The callback list posts late Tuesday for auditions on Wednesday. The Boy is filing for a summer extension over at Disney World which would take him through August. This is getting interesting because at some point he has to come back to finish school.
I was a nervous wreck! Holly was laughing at me because I may have shed a tear or two after she got off-stage. She was wondering what I would do if she ever danced a sad lyrical dance. Another mom said “bawl like a baby like we all do!”
