We should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.

- DONE – This has been one heck of a week. Work was absolutely insane, and I worked longer and harder than I have in a very long time. On top of that, I had to run home every morning to give Cletus a break from his crate, feed him, and let him burn off some energy. This is not conducive to a calm work environment, as it makes me feel as if I am always on the run. Plus, Jim left for Australia on Wednesday so Holly and I have been struggling to come up with a routine that allows us both to accomplish everything we need to do every day. As if that wasn’t enough, Tallulah got sick on Wednesday; I suspect it was something she ate that impacted her system for a good 24 hours. I think she had to go outside more than Cletus did! Holly miraculously has nothing on the calendar this weekend; her dance coaches are out of town this weekend so no rehearsals. This means that we all get the chance to take a deep breath, rest, and readjust to prepare for next week.

What makes this a Fabulous Friday for you?

DONEEEEEE this week me tooooooo oh God this week has been a long one. I don’t know how to feel about it — some days I was feeling super productive, and other days I felt like I had never in my life accomplished one single thing. But either way, I am hella relieved to see the weekend.
I just felt hectic all week long. Not productive but not accomplishing a damn thing. I felt like Sisyphus actually, but having to run that damn boulder up hill as quickly as possible each and every time. That is no way to go through life, I’ll tell ya. Thank goodness for weekends to break you out of the cycle!
Oh man, you guys had a rough week. Soon, soon Cletus will be able to hold his own a little longer. I didn’t have that problem with The Otter Pup when we got her. She literally would not go at all until we were home so she learned to hold it for a very long time. She doesn’t go even now, when we are at work all day. As soon as we come through the door she hits the mat or holds it for her walk.
For the Super Bowl this Sunday we got invited to a friend’s house and they have a new puppy! I met this puppy about two weeks ago and he is just like our Otter Pup. He is so darn cute and only 4 lbs. I just want to eat, sit and play with the puppy and maybe see a good halftime show.
Our first dog was like that. Once she figured out that outdoors was her bathroom, she could hold it for hours. We had even slept about twelve hours and she never bothered us with the need to go outside. Tallulah is not like that. Before we got the pup, she was still getting us up in the middle of the night to go the bathroom. The pup gives her a lot more times to go outside, so that hasn’t been a problem. Actually, I think she enjoys all the outside time these days.
Yikes…sounds like a stressful week. I’m glad it’s Friday and you get a few days to recover!
Thanks, Brandie. It was not a great week. So far, other than the crappy weather and having to either use the terrifying snowblower I can barely move or shovel, it is starting out well.
