We should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.

- JOB INTERVIEWS – We knew that things would pick up on the job search front after the holidays and indeed they have. Jim had one in-person interview this week and has another one next week. Plus, he has at least one phone interview as well. These are all very good things and hopefully mean multiple job offers in the near future.

What makes this a Fabulous Friday for you?

Good luck to Jim! I need to start doing my own job searching. I am ready for a change. Here’s hoping we both find what we are looking for!
Good luck, Kelly!
This all sounds promising. Multiple offers would be good.
This Friday is a little bittersweet. This is our last Friday with the boy until late May, possibly August! He was assigned to Typhoon Lagoon but that park is being refurbished so they are going to reassign him when he arrives. He’s a little nervous not knowing where he will be. He has to stay in a hotel for day 1 because his housing move-in day is not until the next day. Then, orientation, etc.
Work has been interesting. One person retired with little notice, another person gave notice and will be gone at the end of this month. I’ve been told there will be an opportunity discussed with me next week. Oh, and did I mention that my boss is on probation??
You will be okay, I promise! The first month is downright odd, but then it becomes your new normal. There will be tears, but I was surprised by how few I actually shed after that initial departure. I am here for you this weekend and next week as you adjust!
Wow. You mentioned your boss but two more are gone as well? I hope this opportunity they want to discuss with you is worth your while. Whenever so many people start leaving, it always makes me nervous.
Fingers crossed for y’all!
Thanks, Amanda!
Yay!!! That’s great news. I hope he finds the perfect opportunity. Good luck, Jim!
Thanks, Brandie!
Good luck, good luck to him! Our son-in-law was laid off his job in October and has had a tough time finding anything. He says things are picking up in our area as well. That 4th quarter is tough for job other than seasonal/temp ones.
May your son-in-law find a permanent position soon as well!
