We should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.

- TOGETHER AGAIN – Connor has officially ended his first semester of college and is coming home today. Thankfully, this time around, he is getting a ride to Davenport,
Iowa which is much, much closer. I know these next few weeks are going to be interesting as we all adjust to having him back at home for longer than a week, but I am so glad he is coming home all the same. He might still be a selfish teenager, but he is my selfish teenager and I miss him.

- THE LAST JEDI – Woot woot!!!! Tomorrow, we are going to see the movie together as a family. I selected an awesome theater outside of Madison that serves food to your seat, which is a recliner. I can’t think of a better way to watch the latest Star Wars movie! (Now to avoid spoilers for the next twenty-four hours.

What makes this a Fabulous Friday for you?

I already asked about the movie, but how was the food? 🙂
It was not bad. A bit overpriced, as you can imagine, but the portions were actually decent. The kids and I ate all of ours without feeling completely stuffed. I would do it again.
Yayyyyyy The Last Jedi! I hope y’all have an amazing time! I’m seeing it with my sister and brother-in-law tomorrow morning and I’m reeeeeeally excited for it. I WANT SO BADLY TO LOVE IT.
It took me all weekend, but I can say that I did love it. Such a different movie for the series, but I think it is a long time coming. The director handled the heavy philosophical discussions beautifully and no mention was made of mitochlorians when Luke was explaining the Force to Rey. Plus, that last scene for Luke? And Luke and Leia’s last scene? Sob city! I have never cried during any Star Wars film, but this one made me cry at least three times!
I think I need to send Jason and the boys out to see Star Wars this weekend. Not me, though. I can’t make it through one of those, haha.
Ah, this series is the best comfort food for me. I am a bona fide Star Wars junkie!
Have fun at the movie!! I’m glad you’ll have Connor home for Christmas. It’ll be a great couple of weeks!
The movie was fun. It got everyone talking/debating/arguing, which I thought was even better.
Yay for Connor coming home. Enjoy the movie. We probably won’t see it for a while.
I will be curious what you think of it once you see it!
