We should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.

- BIRTHDAY WEEKEND – Jim has a birthday on Sunday. Holly, surprisingly, has no dance this weekend. I don’t know what we are going to do but I have a few ideas that involve getting out of the house and doing something. It will be up to him to decide. One thing is for sure though – I will be making one of the best recipes ever – his grandmother’s carrot cake. It has been his birthday tradition for as long as we have been married.

What makes this a Fabulous Friday for you?

Happy Birthday to Jim…and enjoy your dance free weekend. 🙂
Thanks, Anita!
I hope Jim is able to get a piece of that cake and isn’t like Milton. 😉
He definitely gets his share of the cake. Plus, the family rule is the last piece goes to the birthday person. No Milton issues at our house!
Mmmmm. I miss carrot cake. I hope you guys do something fun. Sometimes when we have been busy and then we have some time to actually do something, we spin around in circles and can’t decide on what we want to do. That happened with the girl’s bday recently.
I am trying to leave it up to Jim, but he has no clue what he wants to do. Honestly, I would be okay if we sat home and watched football like we have for the entire fall. The weekdays are just too damn busy to want to spend the weekend away from the house. So, it will be interesting to see what he decides he wants to do, if anything.
Happy Birthday to Jim! Have a great weekend.
Thanks, Jill! I hope yours is wonderful!
Happy Birthday, Jim! I hope you enjoy the weekend and have fun!
Thanks, Brandie! Have a great one!
