We should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.

Still surviving, one day at a time.
- Memorial Day Weekend – We actually have no plans. I hope to get the decorations for Connor’s party done this weekend. I am sure there will be grilled meat consumed. Other than that, all I know is that I do not have to go into work on Monday, and I plan to take advantage of that.
- Connor’s Birthday – Connor turns seventeen on Sunday. I won’t get all mushy about it because in many ways it feels like he is older. I will confess that I look back on his baby pictures and wonder where that chubby-cheeked little boy went, but then I look at the man he is becoming and feel that everything is okay.

What makes this a Fabulous Friday for you?

Well, happy birthday and happy graduation to Connor!
Thanks, Lisa!
Hope Connor has an awesome birthday! And I hope you have a fantastic weekend involving much relaxation and good eats!
Thanks, Debi! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
First, happy birthday to Connor! and happy weekend to you with no plans!
Here, the only real plan is a picnic on Monday with neighbors. Other than that, binge-watching Riverdale, Bloodline, and Bosch. Oh, maybe reading too.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend, Bryan!
Happy Birthday to Connor! I just want to sleep sleep sleep as much as the new babe allows. Maybe just one great nap…
That sounds about perfect. I say it is a weekend where you sleep with the babe sleeps.
Happy Birthday, Connor!
Enjoy your long weekend! I hope you get some time to relax and read.
Thanks, Brandie! You too!
Hope you have a great weekend! We also have no plans – mostly because anywhere we’d want to go is just going to be too “people”. And yes there will be grilled meat at our house too.
Happy Birthday to Connor!
So far, the weekend is starting with yet more rain. I am okay with that. It means less guilt about not doing anything!
Happy birthday to him! Have a great weekend, dear. 🙂
Thanks! You too!
