We should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.

- Healthy Bodies – It was a great weekend for the competition team in regards to their performance, but it was not so great weekend in regards to the team’s overall health. We had girls dancing with fevers and stomach bugs (complete with emergency vomit buckets offstage just in case), teachers with fevers, kids diagnosed with influenza B, kids diagnosed with strep throat. I swear the plague hit the team and hit it hard. In spite of me sitting next to my bestie for 28 hours right before she came down with whatever hit the girls, so far Holly and I remain healthy. I don’t know how or why, but I will take it.
- One down, two more to go – As I said, the girls performed their hearts out last weekend and came home with so many trophies and awards in spite of everyone being sick. Tonight, we do it all again and hopefully this time, everyone is healthy so we can really rock it!

What makes this a Fabulous Friday for you?

I’ve worked shows like that, where I am holding or directing kids to a puke bucket. I am often amazed at how they are able to go on at all. This one gal came off stage after singing a very demanding song and lost her cookies as soon as she came into the wings. Wiped her face and then went right back on. That was the week I caught pneumonia but it hit me three days later. I hope you stay healthy.
It’s been five days and so far neither H nor I show any symptoms. I think we are safe this time. Of course, if anyone is still contagious, we will find out tonight.
Omg, hooray for doing well while being sick! But boooo on being sick! There’s something gross floating around our work and I know I’m going to get it! :/ Hope everyone feels better soon and you don’t get anything!
So far, my girl and I are healthy! I figure if we haven’t gotten anything by now, we are safe as it has been five days since exposure. Hopefully, everyone is on the mend because we have to do it all again tonight!
The crap going around is awful. I’m amazed they could perform so well being under the weather like that! Great job, girls! I hope they’re all feeling better and do awesome this weekend.
We are all amazed at how well they did. One of the poor girls was so pale she was almost green and definitely whiter than her white costume that she was wearing as she was accepting her award. It sounds like everyone is feeling much better this weekend. We shall find out tonight!
