Hosted by Kathryn from Book Date, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, plus whatever else comes to mind. To learn more about each book, just click on the book cover!
FINISHED SINCE THE LAST UPDATE:
Upon finishing Emily Fridlund’s book, I had to stop and question whether I missed something. The title is obviously a metaphor, but I’ll be damned if I can figure out what that metaphor is. The story itself is less obtuse and actually rather poignant. It was a BEA Buzz book this past May, and it will have literary fiction lovers drooling over it.

CURRENT LISTEN:
I have not given up hope of continuing to listen to this one.

?
So, what are you reading?

I guess I will have to check into History of Wolves at some point!
I want lots of people to read it so they can tell me what I missed! LOL!
I want to read Everything You Want Me to Be soon. I keep hearing it’s really good. I hope you’re enjoying it!
It is different. Quite sad actually.
Haha – I’ve heard similar things about History of Wolves from someone else! I have it and have been putting it off to read other things since the feedback. Might pick it up later in the month.
Okay, good. I hate when I feel like I am missing something huge and always appreciate when others are as obtuse as I am. LOL!
