We should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.
- LONG WEEKEND – I took off Thursday for my sanity (no, the budget was still not final when I left on Wednesday). Plus, my company closed on Friday and will close again on Monday. That means a five-day weekend. Can I get an AMEN?
- CHRISTMAS – Part of the reason I took off on Thursday was to finish prepping for Christmas. As of this morning, all of the presents are wrapped and ready to go. All of the cards are in the mail. I just need to make some more cookies, plan my menu for the weekend, and hit the grocery store one last time. It might have taken me some time to get into the spirit, but I am really looking forward to Christmas this year. We have no special plans or traditions but spending the time at home without work is the best present ever.

Yay for long weekends. I have two three day weekends due to holidays and I’m taking next Friday off so I only work three days next week. Yay!
Merry Christmas!!!
I have another long weekend for New Year’s too. We are going to be so spoiled by the time January comes around!

Thanks, Kelly!
Jason’s got a four-day weekend, with Friday and Monday off, and he didn’t know he was going to get it until Wednesday. A nice little surprise! 😀
Merry Christmas to you!
That IS a nice surprise! I hope you both enjoyed the time together!
Mine is about the same, but a four-day weekend and we’ll be traveling to my parents on Sunday so won’t be staying in all weekend. You, Jim, and the kids enjoy your holiday weekend, and have fun baking and prepping for Christmas today.
Thanks, Bryan! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
