FINISHED SINCE THE LAST UPDATE:
Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch. No wonder I am beginning to feel a bit frayed around the edges.

Not finishing a book in a week’s time always makes me feel ishy and unsettled, so I feel your pain! Hopefully you’ll have some time this week to get fun reading done!
Exactly! I am just off-kilter these days, and I know it is the lack of reading. I hope to make up for it during the readathon!
I hope this week is a better reading week for you! I know how bad it sucks not to finish a book in a week!
Thanks, Brandie!
Am reading Amsterdam, listening to Brighton Rock but might bail on it, upcoming is Orlando… BEST to you on having time to read.
I will find that time soon enough!
I’m reading ZZ Packer’s short story collection, DRINKING COFFEE ELSEWHERE, and listening on audio to ALL THE LIGHT WE CANNOT SEE. I should be receiving IMAGINE ME GONE by Adam Haslett any day now. I’m eager to delve into that one!
I hope you are enjoying them all!
ugh, I hate when the week is too busy to finish anything. It throws off my groove.
I’ve been seriously struggling to relax lately. I know it has to do with not finishing a book or finding one that thoroughly engrossed me.
Do I remember you saying Mischling is a bit of a slog?
It was a slog but still beautiful and heartbreaking.
