We should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.
- HOMECOMING– All week, the kids have been having fun wearing silly outfits to school for Spirit Week. Even the middle school students were allowed in on the fun. Holly in particular loved Black-Out day; black is her favorite color these days. Today, Spirit Week culminates in the Homecoming parade and tonight’s football game. Tomorrow night is the dance. Connor is going again this year. No girlfriend, but he is going with a friend, no strings attached. I know he is going to have a blast going with friends instead of feeling the pressure to impress a girlfriend or live up to her expectations. Either way, I know he is savoring it all as he is really feeling his senior year and recognizes that it is his last year to do all the things. A bittersweet week indeed.

What makes this a Fabulous Friday for you?

I hope Connor has a great time!
Thanks, Brandie! He did have a lot of fun!
Have fun! Today is my 10 year wedding anniversary so we’re going out for a FABULOUS dinner tomorrow night. I cannot wait!
I hope you had a wonderful wedding anniversary dinner!
I love homecoming! Having a senior is a very bittersweet time, isn’t it?
Football and watching our kids have fun–it’s great.
Have a good weekend.
It is very bittersweet, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Hope you have a great weekend!
Thanks, Kelly! You too!
Hope the weather out there is better for y’all than it is here right now. Rain, rain, and more rain coming, but the weekend still should be fun, right? That’s the attitude I’m taking as Kim and I are going on a bus wine tour this Sunday.
A bus wine tour? That sounds like fun even if the weather is rainy!
