We should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.
- NEW BOOKS – I received my two boxes of books from BEA on Tuesday. They have been sitting on my dining room table since then. I am really looking forward to logging and shelving them, as well as putting together a BEA post with a list of books I am most eagerly looking forward to reading. If cooking and cleaning are relaxing exercises for me, putting books away is downright luxury!
- BEAUTIFUL WEATHER – I don’t know about your area of the country, but it has been absolutely glorious around here these days. Sunny, warm but not too hot, no humidity, cooling down at night without getting too cold. It is just about perfect. There is nothing like a lovely spring day to make one feel happy to be alive!

What makes this a Fabulous Friday for you?
The weather here has been the same, although not quite warm enough to sit outside in summer clothes. Nothing a long-sleeve can’t solve and then we can sit on the patio for hours!

Ugh, I am so jealous of your pretty weather. We had some nice weather recently, but now it is over, and I think it will never return. It’s a million degrees from now until October, I’m afraid. :/
I think we are finally gearing up for summer weather, and it is almost mid-June as I type this. It has been such a weird spring.

Just so you know, I will not be telling you what books came home with me. Instead, I will be sharing with everyone the books releasing this summer and fall that has me most excited. I am not a fan of the “here are the stacks of books” posts. I don’t like book mail posts either for similar reasons.
