We should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.
- LAST COMPETITION WEEKEND – Thank. Goodness. Even with the breaks between competitions, it has been a brutal season. I think in part because we have so many dances to watch this year. There is no good break for lunch or time to get hair and makeup done. Plus, there is always one night that ends really late because of the way the schedule works. This is the last one though, so us moms will definitely be having some fun this weekend!
- THE MONTH OF MAY – The month of May starts this weekend, which is, in my humble opinion, the best month of the year. There is Mother’s Day. There is Memorial Day. There are warmer temperatures. Flowers. Oh yeah, and a little thing I like to call my BIRTHDAY! Time to celebrate ME all month long!

The fabulous month of May! I am excited for my birthday too, and also for myriad events and fun times that are coming up in this month. I am feeling so good about May that I volunteered to cook a meal for five people, which since I am petrified of cooking is a big deal for me. 😀

Yes! I’m a Mother’s Day baby this year. I’m trying not to care about my birthday this year. I am definitely not where I want to be health-wise, and it is such a big milestone. It’s going to be a tough day for me.
I don’t know if the schedule will go back to normal. I suspect ballet rehearsals will increase. Plus, we have one month before the first variety show. It will be here way too quickly!
