We should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.
- A free Saturday – I know! I am in utter shock about this.
Don’t get me wrong; there are still things on the calendar, but they are for Connor and not something we can attend. That means that there is no place we have to be and nothing we have to do for an entire day! I honestly do not know what I am going to do with myself. The possibilities are endless.

Ha! I cleaned the house. I know – totally not sexy or interesting but it needed to be done and it gave me a sense of peace to do it.

Fabulous Friday here because work week is done. Weather’s good this weekend too. Long Island Iced Tea is making Friday evening pretty fabulous too.

I wish I had a free Saturday!! Enjoy! I have to attend the teen’s concert tonight, then hit the market at what…10pm to get cooler supplies for the all day track meet tomorrow, then after the track meet I have to work registration at the church for the Humans vs. Zombie Nerf War that is happening with the middle school ministry… then when the event actually starts, I have to BE in the Nerf War as a zombie I believe. Sunday, all day church stuff. Help me. Please.
Since I know you survived, how was it? A Nerf War sounds like a blast.
Sleep and reading sounds good to me. Enjoy being in bed 🙂
I did not spend as much time in bed as I wanted, but that’s okay. I have a clean house again, and I think that is even better.

My Sunday is pretty free. If doing laundry all day is considered a free day. Lol.
Tomorrow I’m taking Sunnie to get a hair cut, to lunch, and then to see Zootopia. She’s pretty excited, it’ll be fun. Date night tomorrow night – I can’t wait!

I did enjoy every minute of my free Saturday. I do count doing laundry as a free day. You can get a lot of reading done in between loads. 🙂
