I used to do this post and got away from it for whatever reason. This makes me sad because we should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. Also, what better day on which to do this than Fridays? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.
- Blogger Love – So, I didn’t exactly sign up for BBAW as I knew this week would be a busy one that would prevent me from participating. However, what I have seen on Twitter has been amazing. Seriously, I have not seen this type of blogger love fest in years, and it feels so good. It makes me want to give each and everyone one of you a big bear hug because I love you all so much! Let’s keep this blogger love going throughout the year, okay?
- Spring-like Temperatures – I do love winter and enforced hibernation (not that I have been allowed to do that much this winter), but the first breath of spring-like temperatures makes me so happy. Today’s high is supposed to be in the fifties, extending into tomorrow. It is almost enough to open windows and get some fresh air into the house. Instead, I will find reasons to head outside as much as possible.

What makes this a Fabulous Friday for you?

Aw, well, even though you couldn’t participate in BBAW this time, I’m glad the blogging love still rubbed off on you! I’m hoping we can do it again next year, and maybe then you’ll be able to play along.
Absolutely!
Just the fact of Friday and the impending weekend automatically makes it fabulous for me 🙂
I understand that. I could make that one of my reasons every week!
Hugs to you as well!
Thanks, Kelly!
I too am thrilled for a relatively warm weekend!
BBAW had my heart swelling with joy all week. It’s been so nice to take the time to celebrate each other, and I’m excited to catch up on posts I missed over the weekend!
I suspect a lot of people will be catching up on BBAW posts this weekend and during the week to come!
I SHOULDN’T have participated in BBAW this week–you know how terrible this timing is for accounting people–but I couldn’t resist and I’m glad I didn’t try! (I was able to get all my posts written during my day off on Monday, and that helped a lot.) Hopefully the good feelings and sense of (re-)connection won’t fade away too soon. Have a great weekend, Michelle!
I agree, Florinda! We definitely needed a boost of love and connection within the community. It would be a shame for it to fade.
Awww! Love the group hug. 🙂
I am glad to have discovered your blog
Group hugs FTW!!
Thank you for stopping by and never be afraid to let me know what you think!
I always feel so overwhelmed when BBAW hits. Not because of the event itself it just seems like this time of the year for me is just too much for me to handle. That is why I haven’t participated in years. Some of the topics have been really good, too. I just can’t keep up with reading them all.
I am sick, again. I had that 3 day head cold and then my daughter got sick again and then my co-worker got sick again. It seems like there is no flu here but that we all get sick twice this season to make up for it. I hardly ever catch a true cold. It’s so weird to have one twice. I feel yucky and I am at work and have no lunch for later so I will have to venture out to find something that sounds good.
My poor Ti! I hope you found something extra delicious for lunch that will help you get through the rest of the day. Are you able to get any rest this weekend?
I understand how you feel about BBAW. It’s why I had to step away from Armchair BEA as well. They are fun but exhausting and can suck way too much time. All that talk about no stress or pressure, and then such an event pops up that makes me feel stress and pressure. Irony at its finest.
Hang in there! Wishing you a speedy recovery!
I am really excited about the warmer temps this weekend. I plan on getting out in it as much as I can! Have a great weekend, Michelle!
Isn’t it wonderful? I will definitely be going outside to walk this weekend. How can you not?
Ha! Yes, big giant group hug. 🙂 And oh how I love Scrubs–we just did a recent rewatch of the show and I might have sobbed a bit during the last episode. <3
Our winter has been frighteningly mild this year. Today it will be 78!! While it's been wonderful with the baby because we can get out and walk almost every day, it does make me wonder what this summer will be like. Enjoy your spring-like day today! 🙂
“Scrubs” was such a great show. I do miss it. The cast had such a wonderful dynamic to it.
I was thinking the same thing about mild winters and pending summers. We were almost this warm in December after all and have really only had one full week of frigid temperatures. The rest of the winter has been very mild, and that really concerns me if it means way too many bugs this summer and higher than normal temperatures.
