I used to do this post and got away from it for whatever reason. This makes me sad because we should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. Also, what better day on which to do this than Fridays? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.
- New Year, Fresh Start – The year is sparkly and new. All those resolutions or decisions you made at the beginning of the year are still possible and even probable. This time of year always fills me with joy and hope.
- Ballet Tryouts – Holly has tryouts tomorrow for a main part in this year’s ballet. I have been looking forward to this since they announced what they will be performing.

I love it! I’m giving you my fabulosity here since I’m not posting anything bloggy today: redecorating our living room. We get to go pick out a new couch and recliner tomorrow. Already ordered a new TV cabinet and will get a new TV, too! Other fabulousness: a great week of Bout of Books reading, new shoes that I love, and a very happy kindergartner. 🙂

Ballet auditions, oh how I loved them. Good luck to your daughter. Tell her pleasant face, smile through her eyes and continue to say I can do this, make sure she is enjoying the moments. IGNORE the haters, she will not meet friends on this day, not real ones anyway. I’m excited for her just thinking about it.

Thanks, Marce! She does that all on her own. She is one of the few girls her age who ignores all the drama and just dances her heart out every single time. It is always fun to watch, whether it is rehearsals or performances or technique classes.
