I used to do this post and got away from it for whatever reason. This makes me sad because we should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. Also, what better day on which to do this than Fridays? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.
- No More Single Mom – Jim is home for longer than a day! And he isn’t going anywhere this weekend. I cannot tell you how happy this makes me. My plan right now is to stick him with all of the dropping off and picking up duties for dance. And cooking. And doctor’s appointments. And cleaning. Basically, I want to disappear for the weekend, so he can handle everything all by himself. Granted, if I were to do so, I would come home to no food, no clean laundry, my desk piled with paperwork, and two very angry kids. So, I will just enjoy a second pair of hands and a second driver and someone to back me up on enforcement when it comes time for two stubborn children to actually do what is asked of them.

What makes this a Fabulous Friday for you?

I will be backstage tonight working Peter Pan. My backstage position is not ideal this time because of the flying rigging but oh well. I am right in the middle of the action but can’t see a damn thing!! I get to see all the performers before the enter stage left though. Of course, my kid enters from the other side most of the time.
Agh! That’s so frustrating!
Enjoy having some help! I’m going to bake cheesecake cupcakes tonight for a party tomorrow and I am way too excited about this!
Yum! I hope you enjoyed your party!
I am so glad Jim is home for your sake! Have a wonderful weekend!!
Thank you!
Yay for no more Single Mom!!
Exactly!
Yay for a second pair of hands! Hope it’s a great weekend for you, Jim, and your family.
Me? That I have a day off today where I can catch up with blog reading this morning and book reading this afternoon. On deck: Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates.
Very nice! I am really hoping to do the same this weekend on reading. I feel like I have really struggled to focus this week.
