Hosted by Sheila from Book Journey, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, plus whatever else comes to mind. To learn more about each book, just click on the book cover!
CURRENT LISTEN:
There is a readalong for this one. Even though I listened to it a year ago, I could not pass up the chance to participate in another King readalong. Besides, vampires!
UP NEXT:
Who knows?
So, what are you reading?

I’m struggling with Queenie…a lot. I’ll muddle through it but Harold Fry is better.
I gave up. It was too boring for me.
Oh I would like to hear what you thought of City on Fire. Was that an audio? Some say it could’ve been quite a bit shorter. What say ye? Good writing?
I read it as an e-galley. I really liked it a lot. I can see how others might find it too long, but to me, it was so reminiscent of a classic, where they took the time to build the characters and delve into the details.
Ooh, Stephen King. I really need to get back to IT. My audio expired before I could renew it, and even though I later got it with an Audible credit, I’ve been lazy about listening.
This week I wanna get back into nonfiction with Unfair by Adam Benforado and Pathologies of Power by Paul Farmer. I’ll also try to fit in A Clash of Kings, which is the second installment in the Great Shaina and Her Boyfriend Read ASoIaF Aloud to Each Other project.
Have a great week!
You definitely need to get back to It. This would be a perfect week for it, right?
I love the fact that you guys are reading a series aloud to each other. How are you doing with all those names?
The cover of that Nora Roberts book is so pretty. I haven’t read a Roberts book in too long. I hope you’re enjoying it!
I’m going to start back up with this meme this week. I miss participating in it. I started Secret Sisters this weekend on a whim and like it so far.
I actually never started the new Roberts. I was and then I got caught up in the new Atwood. Oops!
Went to my shelf and pulled out a Harlan Coben novel, Stay Close. Trying to listen to Queenie Henessey too
What do you think of the Queenie Henessey? I will admit I really struggled listening to it.
