Hosted by Sheila from Book Journey, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, plus whatever else comes to mind. To learn more about each book, just click on the book cover!

I plan to read Tiny Little Thing and Circling the Sun during the summer too. Great minds think alike. Have a great week!
I hope to get to these before the month is out. In my ideal world, I would be reading them right now!
The Bookseller was just okay for me. I hope you like it better.
Man, if I could sit my butt down and write up some reviews I can keep my book blogger hat.
Seriously. Where is the motivation? I finished Misery, as you know. That will be easy to write up. I picked up A Little Life again after a long break and fell right back into it as if no time has passed. I sort love that.
I want to squeeze an easy, summery book in before Atlas Shrugged. It’s production week though and my mind wanders. Hair, make-up, the right dance shoes and not the other dance shoes, etc. I think I may need some time off. I haven’t taken a good chunk since the holidays but I usually hoard all my time to take off three weeks around Christmas. Maybe I can do both.
You will always have your book blogger hat! I won’t let them take it away from you!
I do understand about the lack of motivation. I finally got my writing motivation back after months of it being a chore. Just do what feels comfortable, even if it means one-line reviews. Eventually, you will get it back.
I know what you mean about production week. That’s what I’m going through this week again too. I’m hoping to get some reading time next week after each day’s competition performances are over. We shall see.
You’ve got 3 books I’m dying to read in your “Up Next” list. I’ve got them all on pre-order too.
🙂
They are all e-galleys, otherwise I would share.
Books on covers! I just love those. Congrats on making it through Misery. For YEARS, that was the only King I had attempted.
Misery is going to go on the list as one of my favorites of his. It is intense and scary and gory. I loved every minute of it!
Just finished the Bookseller- I am trying to review it so I will look forward to your thoughts on that one!
Intriguing. I’m afraid The Bookseller is going to be a slow one for me. I just don’t have any audiobook time for the next few weeks.
Can’t wait to see what you thought of Things You Won’t Say. Couldn’t decide if it was worth reading. And The Bookseller, too!
You have such a great line up! I have both Love Lies Beneath and Pretty Baby to read. I have been hesitant about Love Lies Beneath, I don’t know why. Interested in what you’ll think of it.
Ah, Things You Won’t Say is a tough one. I want to love all of Sarah’s novels because I do love her so much. I struggle with some of her books, and it makes me sad. This was one of them. The Bookseller is going to be slow-going, I fear. I have no good audiobook time for the next two weeks. I cannot wait to see what magic Mary Kubica does with her sophomore novel. I’m so excited!
I see your list of books and it reminds me that I have some of the very same ones waiting patiently on my shelves. I have high hopes for Circling the Sun…fingers crossed!
Happy Monday!!
I have high hopes for all of these! I’ve had them long enough, that I’m just excited to finally get to read them!
