Hosted by Sheila from Book Journey, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, plus whatever else comes to mind. To learn more about each book, just click on the book cover!
Finished Last Week:
That’s a big fat nothing. I honestly can’t even think of the last time I didn’t finish at least one book in a week.
Did Not Finish:

Yes. An archive date issue again. I have put myself on a e-galley request moratorium until I can get caught up.

Those look like fun reads!
Hopefully, that’s exactly what they are!
I’ve been hearing a bit of about Queenie Hennessey lately–some of it good and some of it meh. I’ll be curious to hear what you think! I still need to get to Harold Fry.
Yeah. I’m struggling with Queenie. I’m hoping it is just the narrator, and that I will enjoy it more in print.
You guys have had a lot going on in the last few weeks. No wonder you couldn’t get a book finished. It will pick up again soon, I’m sure. 🙂
I certainly hope so. I feel so unsettled.
You always have an interesting mix of books on deck! I hope you get some more reading time this week. I know how it feels not to finish a book all week. I’ve been having that issue a lot lately. You had such and exciting and busy week last week that it’s no wonder! 🙂
LOL! I’m not certain if that had anything to do with my lack of reading, but I hope to remedy it as soon as possible.
I enjoyed Queenie Hennessey, although not as much as Harold Frye. The Cage is on my “try to get” list for BEA so I’ll be interested in your thoughts (if you get to it before then).
I’m struggling with the Queenie story, so I think I am going to switch to the printed version. The narrator just isn’t doing much for me, although the audio version of Harold Fry is outstanding.
Like the mix of genres.
Thanks! I love to mix it up as much as possible.
