Hosted by Sheila from Book Journey, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, plus whatever else comes to mind. To learn more about each book, just click on the book cover!
Finished Last Week:
Did Not Finish:

It’s not the story. This is totally on me. It is just the wrong book at the wrong time. The story is interesting, but I find myself bothered by what I can only assume is the translation. That is taking me out of the novel and making it a chore rather than a pleasure. I’m hoping I can get back to it before it expires, as it is already well past the archive date, but I highly doubt it.

What are you reading?

You’re on a reading roll. I just finished this novel Dark Rooms. Have you heard of it? cheers
Yep! It was one of the first mini-reviews I did.
I LOVED Elenor and Park. I cant wait to hear your thoughts on it.
I haven’t quite finished it yet, but I am thoroughly enjoying it!
STILL reading The Book of Strange New Things. It’s going well and I am liking it but it is a chunkster so I am not moving through it as fast as I want to. I tried to pick up the pace this morning but didn’t put much of a dent in it. It’s one of those ARCs that I was sitting on for way too long and now I just need to get it read and reviewed. Hopefully, but this weekend.
Did you finish it yet? I really want to know what you think of it.
I hope you’re enjoying E&P. I really loved that one. I’m so glad you loved The Nightingale. I’m still thinking about that story months later! And I saw that you enjoyed the Harper book – I recently acquired that one and am excited to read it! I haven’t read anything by that author, and it seems like the perfect summer read.
I hope you have a great week!
I can’t believe you haven’t read anything by Molly Harper yet. She seems like she would be right up your alley. I am thoroughly enjoying E&P. I am even looking forward to going into work tomorrow because it means I can listen to it again. LOL!
Always interesting. 😀
I am reading Caitlin Moran’s How To Be a Girl and reading/listening to Far From the Madding Crowd. I actually read an entire book yesterday! Dept of Speculation by Jenny Offill.
I’ve heard really good things about Dept of Speculation. Since you read it in one day, it sounds like you loved it.
