Happy Sunday! We are still celebrating the Badgers’ win last night for Bo Ryan’s first trip to the Final Four. Such an exciting win too. I don’t think my heart can handle another game like that. Of course, if it means a win to the Big Dance, I’ll take it. We shall see what next Saturday brings.
The weather is definitely showing signs of improvement. Most of the snow is gone, so now I can see just how poorly we raked this past fall. We have a lot of work to do to get the yard in tip-top shape for the spring. We also are getting ourselves organized for spring cleaning. ‘Tis the season, and it will feel so good to freshen up the house after such a long, long winter.
Speaking of long winter, Jim couldn’t wait to take the motorcycle out for the first ride of the year. It’s a tad too chilly for me, but he’s out checking out the roads and seeing how his bike fared after its winterization. I cannot wait for it to warm up enough for me to start riding again!

In honor of spring, we are busting out the grill. Mmmm… Have a great Sunday and an even better week!

We did a great job raking last fall – unfortunately, our neighbors did not. They refuse to rake a leaf so we get to start every spring cleaning up their mess. Congrats to the Badgers – it was fun to see so many Big 10 teams make it so far!
Eek. It’s one thing not to do it, but it’s another thing to rake your yard and then have to rake again because of neighbors. Thankfully, the leaves are all ours, so we can only blame ourselves. It sounds like we are both going to have some fun this spring!
Thanks! I was really hoping for a Big 10 Final Four – or at least three out of four. That would have been so fun. Still, Saturday will be exciting no matter what the outcome!
We had a lot of wind yesterday and it rained this morning. A bigger storm is supposed to hit tonight so track practice was cancelled, which is kind of nice if you ask me. I hope we actually GET the rain though. We need it.
You definitely need it. I hope you got that rain!
Glad y’all are finally getting a break from yucky winter weather. That has to be a GREAT feeling.
It is definitely a wonderful feeling. Unfortunately, it makes the dips in temperatures that are forecast for later this week that much more difficult to bear.
We’re excited to be getting out the grill tonight! Finally some sunshine and somewhat decent weather today!
Have a great week and happy reading!
We grilled last night. So yummy. There is nothing quite like a grilled meal. Enjoy!
We actually had a fairly nice, sunny day yesterday, and Kevin and the boys set up the trampoline with the new jump pad. Josiah jumped for hours with his friend, Steely – and woke up with very sore legs this morning!
We were all outside yesterday enjoying the warmish weather. Bikes were pulled out, the cars were washed. It was just so wonderful to be outside.
