The first thing I noticed was how I loved all of the covers for these books! lol
I am interested in your thoughts on While Beauty Slept and the 2 books up next look good!
LOL! That’s what everyone keeps saying. I didn’t pick them for their covers, but they certainly make an attractive picture!
I finished While Beauty Slept in a day. I’m still not quite certain how I feel about it other than it was definitely a creative retelling. It’s one I will have to think on more carefully before I write my review.
It looks like you are having a good reading year so far!
I know. I am quite confused how this is happening. I’m not complaining. Well, I won’t complain once I have my pending reviews written, all 12 of them, but still.
I had something to say, but then I just started drooling all over those gorgeous covers and I totally forgot what it was. They are all so gorgeous! I want to read them all!
LOL! There are some absolutely gorgeous covers out there lately. It is becoming more and more difficult to ignore them or be picky in the ones you accept. Damn those publishers! 😉
The Invention of Wings seems very popular. Enjoy your reading week.
It is very popular; it helps that the fabulous Ms. Oprah selected it for her Book Club 2.0 this month. She may no longer have a regular talk show, but she can still sell things like there is no tomorrow.
Have a good one!
Thanks! That is very interesting!
You are welcome!
Many mew authors to me, Laura Wiess is good, I have enjoyed her books before.
I’m definitely mixing it up with many new authors and some familiar faces. It makes reading so much more interesting to do that, I think.
I have a copy of The Troop planned, but I’m starting to get a little nervous that I won’t be able to handle it!
I loved The Troop. I’m still thinking about at least nominating it for BR. But yes, it has some of the most disgusting scenes I have ever read. And still, I loved it. I can’t stop thinking about it!
Read the Invention of Wings this week too. Did you like it?
Heather, I’m not going to be raving about its awesomeness, but I definitely enjoyed it – some parts more than others.
