THE POISONED ISLAND is definitely catching my eye.
ENJOY your reading week and your Christmas week.

My It’s Monday, What Are You Reading
Thanks, Elizabeth! It has been such a great list of books lately. Happy New Year!
Oh I loved Me Before You that you read. I hope to read Jojo Moyes next one sometime in 2014. I just finished The Light Between Oceans by ML Stedman which was quite good too. Cheers. http://www.thecuecard.com/
I ADORED Me Before You. It just might have been the best book I read all year. I’ve heard great things about The Light Between Oceans. Have a great week!
You finished a lot last week. Wow. I haven’t finished anything.

LOL! I didn’t do much but read this past weekend. It was my reward for making it through the last week of work. I hope you have a better week this week!
I plan on starting Mayhem next week. Hope it’s good!
It was…interesting. I haven’t decided what I think about it yet. I’ll be curious what you think of it.
Great list – and I love it that you put the covers in your post. I am amazed at how much a cover will attract me to – or repel me from – a book.
I just finished The Colours of Corruption by Jacqueline Jacques last night: great historical fiction about an artist working with the police in Victorian London. I am still reading Perfect by Rachel Joyce and After Her by Joyce Maynard. Hoping to start The Cure by Douglas Richards sometime today. 🙂
I think the only reason why I select so many review copies is purely because of their covers these days. The artwork is definitely improving as publishers create some absolutely gorgeous covers!
Lots of good looking books in that picture. I look forward to hearing about them!
Thanks, Kelly! It’s been fun getting through them all.
Whoa. I love the Secret of Magic cover.
Isn’t it gorgeous? I just started reading it, and it is definitely living up to that cover.
Looks like you had a really good reading week. And your upcoming books look really interesting too. The Crane Wife is on my reading list too.
I really enjoyed The Crane Wife, although I know others are not quite as impressed. I remain impressed with Ness’s ability to write a story.
