Waiting on your thoughts on The Good House. When I saw that you were reading it, I went back to read my review. I always love to read your reviews of what I’ve already read because you usually say what I really want to say but never seem to cobble my thoughts together as succinctly as you do. I have such deep respect for bloggers that put so much heart into their sites.
I definitely have some thoughts on The Good House. It is going to be an interesting review to write. Thank you so much!
WOW! That is an amazing number of books!
That’s a business trip for you! Lots of down time or time in an airplane for reading!
Ooo, The Humans is one of my favorites this year, but I’m always curious how certain books cross over to audio!
I won’t start it until next week but am anxious to get started!
Wow! You finished a lot of books last week! Can’t wait to read reviews.
I am looking forward to reading The Rosie Project. Enjoy all of your books! Happy Thanksgiving!
The Rosie Project is such a cute book. Enjoy!
I forgot about Life after Yes, I want to read that also. Nice mix of books, enjoy.
Thanks, Marce! Yes, I’m finally getting to some books I’ve had forever. It’s a nice change of pace.
Life After Yes? Interesting. I’ll be looking for that review. 🙂
I have it scheduled but not written. It wasn’t what I expected, but I liked it.
Curious to hear what you think of The Good House — I thought it was an excellent portrayal of a woman struggling with addiction, but others I’ve talked with didn’t feel that way. I’m currently reading The Circle by Dave Eggers — about 2/3 way through and still reserving judgment.
I’m enjoying it a lot right now. Her denial about her alcohol addiction is definitely eye-opening.
I’ve heard great things about The Circle, so I hope you begin to enjoy it soon!
Have a great week!
Oh, I’m enjoying The Circle — I’m just not sure if I agree with the author’s point. And I think maybe he’s trying a little too hard to make a point. But it’s entertaining and thought-provoking.
Gotcha. That’s always a conundrum but entertaining and thought-provoking are good things!
