My It’s Monday, What Are You Reading
I am not on the Becoming Josephine tour. It was interesting; I honestly did not know much about her before I started reading it.
Unfortunately, I was not as impressed with The Lavender Garden as you were. Better luck next time, right?
Good to hear Becoming Josephine was good.
Yep on better luck next time with a book. We all can’t like the same books.
Have a great weekend.
Thanks! You too!
I saw Rosie project at the library and by the time I had gotten my kids’ books, someone snapped it up. I would also like to read Madmans Daughter, though Naked Werewolf sounds fun. Wish I could read as much as you do!!
Here’s my reading/cooking recap, I hope you will stop by and be sure to add a link of your favorite review and giveaway to the linky! I hope to see you there! I will share on my social media pages too. Hope you have another great week! http://momssmallvictories.com/small-victories-sunday-6-the-one-where-karma-goes-bad-and-we-rocked-to-bon-jovi/
The Rosie Project is adorable. I started it late yesterday afternoon and finished it last night. Goofy and cute, you just can’t help but smile throughout it. The Madman’s Daughter is fascinating so far. I cannot wait to continue it and am even more curious about the sequel that drops in January. The Naked Werewolf series is just fun. I adore Molly Harper; her books never fail to put me in a good mood.
Have a great week!
I’ve been seeing The Things They Carried all over the place lately. It’s jumped to the top of my list. I just finished The Magnificent Medills by Megan McKinney- a bit gossipy for my taste. Now I’m reading a collection of Orwell’s essays and Justin Cronin’s The Twelve.
How was How to Run with a Naked Werewolf?
I really need to get to the Justin Cronin series. I’m embarrassed that I haven’t read it yet since it has everything I absolutely adore in books. The Things They Carried is so powerful. Audible is getting ready to release a version narrated by Breaking Bad‘s Bryan Cranston; I suspect that is why you are seeing it so often lately. Definitely worth the read.
The latest in the Naked Werewolf series is just as good as one could wish. I tore through it and want to read it again. I find it is one of those series that always makes me smile.
Have a great week!
I just downloaded The Rosie Project to listen to as well! Unfortunately, my laptop just died so I can’t listen to it yet. 🙁
How to Run with a Naked Werewolf looks interesting! I will have to pick it up.
Oh no! I had issues importing my last audiobook. I ended up listening to it using the CDs, which was a pain whenever I left work. I am hoping to get started listening shortly.
The Naked Werewolf series is excellent. I adore Molly Harper and her sense of humor. If you like rom-com with a paranormal kick, you cannot go wrong with either this series or her Jane Jameson series.
I’m always amazed at how much reading you get done! Have a good week.
It’s called no TV and lots of sitting and waiting at practices. I always feel like I should be reading more too – especially when playing Candy Crush.
