OMG! I have to know what you think of Shadow of Night. Heather and I did a lot of eye rolling when we read it together.
I LOVED it! This is a re-read for me because I was in the mood. I adore this series. It makes me happy no matter how many times I listen to or read it.
I LOVE Daphne DuMaurier….I didn’t know she had a new book out.
LOVE YOUR BLOG.
You definitely have some good books listed. I haven’t read any but have heard of them.
ENJOY your week.

My It’s Monday, What Are You Reading
My Cousin Rachel was published in 1951. Dame Du Maurier died in 1989.
Thank you!
Have a great week!
LOL…oops….I feel so stupid. I thought it was a new book.
THANKS for the information.
No problem! It is easy to get excited about any of Dame Du Maurier’s novels!
You have a great reading planned out here. Hope you enjoy your books!
Thanks, Athira! You too!
Wow looks like you have an awesome week ahead of you. Happy reading! 🙂

I definitely had a great week of reading and an even better one ahead of me. Have a great week!
I can’t wait to read your review of The Elementals, even though we discussed. It’s one you need to reflect on I think. 🙂 And of course can’t wait to see what you think of your first Housseini.
I’m trying to write my review now. To discuss it in great detail is to watch the story fall apart. It’s a tricky one!
I am thoroughly enjoying And the Mountains Echoed, as you knew I would!
That’s a lot of books! 🙂 The cover of City of Lost Dreams is so pretty. How’s Shadow of Night so far?
Shadow of Night is a re-read for me, or a re-listen. I was in the mood and didn’t want to re-read Discovery of Witches for a third time!
That’s a great list of books. I have The Bone Season in my pile, I look forward to reading it when I’m done my literary award season reading. Hope you have a great week.
The Bone Season is SO good! I personally enjoyed it just as much in audio as I did reading it in print, but I definitely recommend reading the book first. Enjoy!
I am in the middle of two books this week – Burial Rites, which I am reading thanks to your awesome review, and Crown of Midnight, second in the Throne of Glass series. Enjoying both a lot!
Ack! The pressure! I hope you love Burial Rites as much as I did. I found it so stark and beautiful. The Throne of Glass series sounds fun. I’ll have to check it out!
I agree, Michelle….it was a beautiful read.
stark and beautiful are the exact words I would have chosen to describe it – it’s definitely more gripping than I imagined it would be too!
LOL! I’m glad you are enjoying it!
I LOVED Burial Rites. It is my book club’s choice this month.
Can’t wait for the discussion.
