Ooh ooh the new Lamb 🙂 Can’t wait to hear what you thought of it.
I’ll be very curious to hear your thoughts on The Paris Architect as well. I just finished that one myself.
I LOVED it! Slow in the beginning, but it gradually picks up the pace and I couldn’t stop reading it Friday night until I finished. SO good.
So many people are raving about The Paris Architect. It makes me nervous and excited.
So jealous about Longbourn, I really wish I had requested that one, but I’m looking forward to grabbing it when it comes out.
I really loved The Paris Architect and hope it has a ton of readers, it was such a great story.
I still have my copy if you are interested.
I’ve heard such great things about The Paris Architect. I cannot wait to get started!
I love Jamie Fraser! I love that series, really. 🙂 I am not sure how the television series will be, but I am hoping good!
Lighthouse Island sounds good too. 🙂
I’ll admit, I’m struggling with the series lately. I can’t quite see the point of it, as it meanders a bit too slowly towards the American Revolution. I’m already debating whether I want to continue with the series after this. I adored the first three books and would read them again in a heartbeat. It just has lost something since they left Scotland for the colonies, and I can’t figure out what it is other than recognize that this new story line just does not interest me.
Lighthouse Island is different; I didn’t know what to expect, and it really wasn’t what the novel is. That being said, I am enjoying it tremendously and am anxious to see how it ends!
I wish I was reading more. I seem to have hit a slow-down with school back in session. And given, I’ve read some heavier stuff this month (Jane Eyre, The Historian). I’m loving it all, just wish I could pick up the pace!
Honey, I’m not watching any TV, not working or playing online, not doing any chores, and am spending at least an hour or more waiting at practices every day. Between all of that, it is helping me get through some of the chunkier novels I’ve been reading lately. I would rather not have quite so much time to read if it meant I had time and energy to do the other things that need to get done. LOL!
I’ve seen The Paris Architect on a few blogs. I hope you enjoy your books. Have a great week!
Thanks, Pat! Yes, The Paris Architect is getting quite the buzz. I cannot wait to start reading it myself.
Have a great week!
