I’m reading Goat Mountain now. I adore David Vann. Godiva looks great. all the covers are really cool.
I’m really enjoying Goat Mountain. Caribou Island was dark, but I do love dark novels.
Missing you on The Sunday Salon, but catching you here. It looks like you’re reading a lot lately. Good for you. Me? I’ve hit a lull, but trying to pick it up with some short story collections, including Mark Twain. I’m also reading Retribution Falls by Chris Wooding.
Sorry. I’m getting buried at work lately, and Jim is traveling more often just as after-school activities are beginning to heat up in earnest. Everything is all a bit overwhelming lately, but I hope to be back this week for TSS!
What a great reading week you had! The Widows of Braxton County sounds good! I will have to add it to my TBR list.
The Widows of Braxton County was surprisingly good! I was definitely impressed. Enjoy!
You did a lot of reading last week! I also have the new Patrick Ness to review, and so far I haven’t been able to get into it, which makes me a little crazy. 🙁
And that is why I am so nervous about starting the new Ness. High expectations make me afraid that I am going to hate it no matter if it is good or not.
