Hosted by Sheila from Book Journey, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, plus whatever else comes to mind.
THE NEVER LIST started out strong and grew weaker as the book progressed. SEA CREATURES is quite interesting so far. I'm hoping it continues to remain strong as I continue reading it!
It definitely gets a person thinking about the ethical issues of reanimation and with the idea of just how well a person from 100 years ago would adapt to our modern culture.
THE BOOK OF SECRETS is by far my favorite read this month. SEA CREATURES is starting out slowly. I am definitely intrigued by the possibilities though.
LOL! I haven't written up my thoughts on either yet. I definitely enjoyed THE OTHER TYPIST more than THE CURIOSITY, but both are so different from each other.
Sea Creatures sounds really good – I am so drawn to books with water as a theme. The Book of Secrets sounds very intriguing as well! I will have to check it out!
As usual I want to read ALL of those 😉 I'm especially looking forward to the new Bohjalian..oh and the new Husseini too! I'll be looking forward to your reviews!
Oh yes…that last line.
The last line is a brilliant piece of writing, isn't it? I think it alone took a decent story and made it stellar. So, so good.

I haven't gotten around to THE HUSBAND'S SECRET quite yet but I am looking forward to it. THE OTHER TYPIST is very good.
It looks just lovely, doesn't it?

It was actually quite disappointing, so I'm not certain how much you are missing out on not getting a copy.
Thanks! THE OTHER TYPIST was excellent and a book I know I will be recommending all summer long!

Yes, you must! It was excellent and kept me guessing. I love books like that!
Thanks, Jennifer!
The Other Typist drove me crazy trying to figure out what happened. Write me if you can to discuss. Despite that, I LOVED the book. It is amazing.
Happy Reading.
