LOL! I listened to it and couldn't stop, even if it wasn't all that exciting. The Madness Underneath was FANTASTIC!! Maureen Johnson needs to write faster!
Great minds definitely think alike! Quiet is so good, isn't it?
The Shining was okay but definitely not as exciting or scary as some of his other books. The movie also ruined some of the suspense for me, but I'm glad I read it. I know others have definitely been disappointed with it.
Quiet is a great book, especially if you are an introvert, although I think extroverts could definitely learn a few things too. It's just very well-written and thoroughly researched. Definitely interesting and informative!
I've been on an ARC kick lately too – trying to stay ahead of publication dates! Enjoy!

You finished The Shining already??? I'm just barely past page 100 :p I really need to do some catching up!! And I'm so jealous that you got The Madness Underneath already!! How was it? Oooh, I'm listening to Quiet on audio too right now 🙂 Really enjoying it!
How was The Shining? I have it on my list to read in the next couple of months but after the last two Stephen King novels that I've read I'm worried I'll be disappointed with it.
Oh I loved The Art of Fielding, I hope you do too! I really want to read Quiet, it sounds so interesting and informative 🙂
