The #shineon readalong starts today! Fizzy Jill has been planning this event for months now, and having thoroughly enjoyed both the #italong as well as our Team Bateman camaraderie last fall, wild horses could not keep me away from reading The Shining with her. Besides, it’s “Uncle Stevie”; I have become an unabashed fan of his, not to mention the fact that The Shining has been on my mental TBR list for at least a year or two now.
What makes it a Fabulous Friday for you?
LOL! I'm having fun wearing them around. My kids look at me like I'm crazy, but that's half the fun!

I wish you could join us too! I am really enjoying The Shining so far, but then again, it is King, and I have yet to read a King novel I didn't like. Granted, I've only read three of his books but still. 😉

Easy – bright yellowish-greenish new running shoes. I fought off the urge to buy hot pink and went with my son's color choice. It was invigorating to go against my natural inclination for pink.
