Hola, Amigos and Amigas! I’m back in the US of A and enjoying being back in my house and bed again. The trip to Mexico went really well, and yes, it was a pleasant surprise. Even better, now I know what to expect when I have to do something similar at one of our manufacturing plants here in Wisconsin this week. The light at the end of the proverbial tunnel is definitely getting brighter.
This has been an absolutely fantastic weekend for Wisconsin sports. Starting with the Big Ten Championship and the smackdown my Badgers gave Nebraska, the win by the Packers was like the icing on the cake. On top of that, the Chicago Bears lost to former Wisconsin Badger Russell Wilson and his Seattle Seahawks. I can’t forget the Houston Texans and former Wisconsin Badger J.J. Watt winning as well. It is definitely one of those weekends where I am so proud to be a cheesehead!!
In fact, this entire post is late today because I was in a bit of a football coma. I was so excited last night that it took me a long time to settle down and fall asleep. Then, the Packer game was one of the early games. I definitely did not accomplish what I wanted to do today, but there was a nap. That evens out everything.

Since I opted to sleep and play all weekend, there is an entire’s week worth of paperwork staring at me. I probably should get to it if I hope to get to bed tonight. I hope everyone had an excellent weekend. Happy reading!

LOL! Thanks, Jenners!
Glad the trip exceeded your expectations, which (admittedly) were low. Welcome back!
I was taking a nap and woke up during overtime. It was a great way to wake up! Russell Wilson does some amazing things with the football!
LOL! I think that is wise. 😉
We will kindly have to just disagree and not discuss NFL football. 😉
I screamed my way through the last quarter – and OT – of the Seahawks/Bears game – such a great one!
I'm sorry! I remember those days, living out of state and not being able to see my team. Hopefully, they will make the playoffs, and you can see them then. Otherwise, just let me know and I would be happy to live-tweet the games! 😉
Thanks, Bryan! I think the trip went well. Granted, the person whose opinion counts the most is my boss. I'm supposed to have my six-month review with her this week, so it will be interesting to see what she says.
I cannot regret napping. I did have things I wanted to do today, but I obviously needed to get some sleep.
They didn't televise the Packers game out here. Waaaaahhhhh!!!
Glad to hear the trip to Mexico went well, especially after your pre-description of it.
Napping always evens out everything, especially on a Sunday. I planned to get some reading done (and did) this afternoon, but also got a couple of cat naps too. It was wonderful.
