Thoughts on books, family, and life in one impressive package.

Updating my challenge page to add the RIP VII event this year, I noticed that unbeknownst to me, I finished the Chunkster Challenge for the year. I must say that I am surprised because I was not selecting books based on page numbers and figured I would fall short this year. I am relieved to find that I continue to enjoy lengthy books. I could continue to keep tracking of the chunksters I read during the rest of the year, but that would be for my own edification. I set out to accomplish what I wanted to accomplish, and that’s all there is to it.

Here’s what I read to complete this challenge:

  1. A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness (579 pages)
  2. The Search by Nora Roberts (488 pages)
  3. My Lost Daughter by Nancy Taylor Rosenberg (488 pages)
  4. The Pursuit of Happiness by Douglas Kennedy (592 pages)
  5. The Technologists by Matthew Pearl (496 pages)
  6. The Unseen by Katherine Webb (468 pages)
How are you doing with your challenges this year?
