Thanks to my awesome brother, who graciously decided to take the kids away from their stressed-out grandparents for a few nights, Jim and I are going to be able to celebrate our anniversary together after all, albeit a few days early. We are heading to Madison this afternoon, to roam around our old haunts and to spend the night next to one of the most beautiful Capitol buildings and in one of the best city centers you’ll find anywhere. For one night, we are going to put aside the stress of finding a house and trying to get our family back together and just enjoy ourselves. I can’t wait.

The farmer's market was going on. We didn't get anything but we have big plans to hit it at least once a month. So many goodies!
