Hosted by Sheila from Book Journey, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, plus whatever else comes to mind.
Finished Last Week:
I was on vacation this past week, and I was really hoping that I would finish more books than I did. However, I cannot complain because I enjoyed all of these immensely!
Currently Reading:
Tender Is the Night is another book club selection so expect to see this on here for the next month or so!

What are you reading this week?

Understood. Having read it first and then listened to it afterwards, it is amazing how one can have different reactions to the same book depending on the medium in which the book is enjoyed.
The age gap sounded too big for me. She sounded closer to Tween and him 25, so the mental image wasn't good for me. I think I would have liked it a bit better reading it.
My recent post What I'm reading
I liked the audio of SHIVER. I felt that Sam's voice was a touch too old, but the audio helped me understand Sam and Grace's commitment more than reading it did. I did enjoy reading the last two though.
Yeah, the age thing really makes a difference to me when they are casting the characters, instead of one person doing it all. I had a really big problem with shiver because of it.
I will have to look for Under the Never Sky this weekend at the festival.
My recent post What I'm reading
Interesting. I do not like when narrators are too old for a character. I am glad I read it instead of listening to it. UNDER THE NEVER SKY was SO good!
Isn't it pretty? The publishers are certainly creating some amazing book covers these days. It makes it so difficult to pass them up!
The Diane Chamberlain novel is definitely getting a ton of rave reviews. I confess I've been lax about reading it, but I think I will be remedying that soon!
I hope you had a wonderful week and were able to read more than I did on my vacation!
A lot of people have been saying that. I definitely need to read it a little more.
ACROSS THE UNIVERSE is a great one!
THE FAULT IN OUR STARS is so amazing! I have only just started Diane Chamberlain's novel but everyone is raving about it.
Across the Universe was good, but I thought the female actress was an odd choice for the audiobook, since she sounded much older that the character she was reading for. Under the Never Sky is on my TBR list.
I love the cover of The Good Father!
I went on vacation a few weeks ago and thought I would get more reading in, too, than I did. 6 books isn't too bad, but I had expected to get some more in!
I just got an email about the new Diane Chamberlain book – it looks so good!
Hope you have a great week!
Kristin @ Always With a Book
What a great stack of books! I'm on spring break this week so I'm hoping to get a lot read. Today I want to finish The Behavior Gap by Carl Richards before moving on to some fiction. Have a great week.

Ooh – what gorgeous book covers. And lots of these are books I want to get to soon – especially Across the Universe.
