What has me most excited about this Friday? An entire week away from work. We are finishing up our week in Texas visiting with Jim’s family. While I will was working remotely from Texas, I was still not in the office and did not have to face the glum or angry faces, the despairing looks, the suffering sighs as people get more and more frustrated with the job search and the site’s inevitable fate. I having been rejoicing at being 1,000 miles away from it all, even if I am still connected via e-mail. Anything is better than being in the office right now. The sense of doom grows every day. A break from that is definitely what I needed to kick me out of my own doom-and-gloom frame of mind.
