I say it's a classic. Of course, I love the movie, so I may be the teeniest bit biased.
The Thursday Next series is good. I'm not certain about this one though. It isn't grabbing me as much as I thought it would.

I JUST put the Princess Bride on my 50 Classics list, as a self proclaimed classic. Too funny Michelle. Hope you enjoy it.
Also heard the Thursday next series is quite good but never started it. Look forward to your thoughts.

Thanks, Bonnie! I'm reading The Princess Bride for that exact reason. I've been wanting to read it forever because of the movie.
The Princess Bride remains one of my favorite movies of all-time, so I am really looking forward to seeing how closely the book mirrors the movie.
Great list of reads! I've heard that The Princess Bride isn't nearly as charming as the movie. I hope I heard wrong because it's in my tbr pile.
I've always thought about picking up The Princess Bride – it was my favourite movie so I would probably love the book. I've been wanting to read The Good Daughters for quite some time. I hope you enjoy it! 😀

Nice selection! Hope you're enjoying The Princess Bride. I found it too weird and I didn't like the story broken up by the man and his grandson. Hope you're enjoying it more than me.
