Hosted by Sheila from Book Journey, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, plus whatever else comes to mind.
Finished Last Week:
Amazing book on the pre-war protests against Hitler.
Currently Reading:
Almost done with Lady Chatterley’s Lover! I have been loving everyone’s reactions to this book.
Currently Listening:
Halfway through!!
Up Next:
As always, I reserve the right to change my mind, depending on how I feel on any given day.
What are you reading this week?

Thanks, Jenny! Lady Chatterley's Lover is not for everyone. I notice that now that I too am older on this re-read, the bedroom scenes are less provocative than the class discussion. It makes for an interesting comparison anyway.
The Stand was amazing! I found myself absolutely glued to the audio. It is going to be difficult to top that one.
The House of Tyneford is on my TBR. I do love WWII novels. I loved that All That I Am sets up Hitler's rise to power and uncovers the fact the people did try to protest and prevent him from doing so. Very interesting concept, especially since it is about real people.
Tried Lady Chatterly eons ago when I was quite young, and didn't like it. Now that I'm older (ha) I would probably appreciate it more. Curious about the Stand too, but too many chunksters for me at the moment. Enjoy your books 🙂
The Stand is definitely my all-time favorite King book! I hope you are enjoying it 🙂 I have never listened to it, that may have to be my next audiobook!
My recent post Review: A Love that Multiplies by Michelle and Jim-Bob Duggar
All That I Am sounds so interesting! I am on some sort of WWII kick…I'm currently reading The House at Tyneford and just finished No One is Here Except All of Us.
I am! There are some great things about the story but there are enough moments that take me out of the story and make me question the feasibility. Let's just say it is not the most historically accurate historical fiction novel I've read, and I'm not certain how I feel about it. 😉
I'm curious about The Book of Madness and Cures. You're horribly conflicted about it? Now I'm really curious to read your thoughts about it. Happy reading!
My recent post It’s Monday! What are you reading?
It is definitely an…interesting…book. I am a little more than halfway through it and find myself horribly conflicted about it. I am curious to see how I feel about it at the end.
Thanks, dollycas! I hope you have a wonderful week too!
So jealous you're reading The Book of Madness and Cures!! Can't wait to see your review!
My recent post Clair de Lune by Jetta Carleton
Really interesting reading. They all sound good to me.
Have an awesome week!
