Seriously, why did I wait SO long to read A Discovery of Witches. It is one of the best books I’ve read in a LONG time!

I was curious to see how they were going to break it up into different books. I definitely want more of Matthew though. Hubba-hubba.
It isn't all that great, IMO but a very quick read. I'm glad to find out what all the fuss is.
Thanks, Shirley. I did get back into the audiobook groove. It helps make the time go by at work. The Secret Garden is such a great classic and an enjoyable read even as an adult.
Oh, Andi! I cannot believe you are waiting. It was an AH-mazing book!! Carrier? Not so much…
We're reading Lady Chatterley in my book club. I'm curious to see how they react to it. They tend to be a very conservative lot.
I would definitely reconsider DISCOVERY OF WITCHES, but good call on CARRIER. It was pretty bad.

Discovery of Witches was pretty good … but I didn't know it was a series until the end! I kept thinking "How is she going to wrap this up in so few pages."

Carrier has been sitting on my bookshelf for almost a year… I keep picking it up, then a newer book begs for attention and poor Carrier is left neglected. I *will* make the time to read it… soon.
I have yet to do an audio book review! Someday soon, I will though. How are you enjoying The Secret Garden? This is another I am sorry to say I haven't yet read (shock*). Have a terrific week. Perhaps this will be the week that audio gets its groove back with you.

Ooh! Ooh! You read A Discovery of Witches!! I'm MAKING myself wait to download it until I finish off some obligation books. I also have Carrier of the Mark on my TBR and keep cruising past, looking at it.
Looking forward to your thoughts on Lady Chatterley! Lots of loins in that book. 😀
I considered Discovery of Witches, we will see, I ended up taking Carrier off my Wishlist.
