Every year, in a country called Panem, 12 districts come together in an event called the Hunger Games, in which two tributes from each district compete against each other for survival. There have been many Hunger Games, but this year’s will be the most memorable yet. This year, the two tributes for District 12 are Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark. They each share the same memory from the past, but their adventures are just beginning. Will Katniss be able to survive the Hunger Games? Or will she slowly suffer death in the arena?
The Hunger Games – a title that says it all! Now, I’m going to admit, this book was probably not the book for me. It was violent and perilous. I still enjoyed reading it, mainly because of its descriptive detail (alliteration!). I’d also recommend this book for ages 12 – 80, or however how old people live to be. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m getting kind of hungry.

Well, when I say it wasn't the book for me, I mean it was a little more brutal than I expected. I didn't like how it didn't give a whole lot of information about the past 74 years since the Dark Days.

Not the book for you, eh? Too scary? Too brutal? Too unbelievable? I'd like to know more about what you DIDN'T like about the book so I know how to better suggest this book to other students.
Thanks for your always adorable and awesome reviews (alliteration right back atcha)!
